Hi,
glad you’ve come to watch Video 3 of this 100% FREE 4 video series.
Please remember to leave your comments below – thanks, Andrew
I could not download your videos. Internet explorer apparently has no interface with your program, no matter.. I will say that I “had” wondered whether I had been ripped-off after all the books were downloaded and you kept me looking for that next bonus to fill the void in my wallet. But nevermind that, I am satisfied because I was trying to help my “friends” by becoming a more caring and attentive friend to them in return.. All said and done, I have become more than I was before simply by investing in their well being, even if the info does not fit what I had expected. I am glad that there is someone like yourself who offers the “opportunity” for pet owners to care more for the animals than for the cash at hand. Don’t get me wrong, you’re on the right track, natural meals are best and I even benefit by being in the kitchen more often and preparing more natural and fresh meals for myself as well.. The only thing was that, I saw some ingredients in your recipes from another author, thjat were also listed in your foods to avoid, if I’m not mistaken.. Initially this was a big, Oh Shit, moment for me.. Anyway, Thank You— P.S. How come so many of your BLOGGERS have female names?? Real Men can Love Dogs too! Tom Stanley
I appreciate the raw honesty and upfront approach to your video’s. Society has always treated animals as low priority and an owners possesion without the thought of the welfare of the animal. I hope that you continue with your approach and the parents-owners of these animals will take the additional time to see their animals as a total part of their families and make the time to play and train them.
Andrew again it was a good video but more of an outline I’m hoping to get a better solution to the outline in video 4, I can tell you really want us to be better owners and I really want to be a better owner I like others treat our dogs like our children and I know I’m a good mother but when it comes to animals the way we have been trained we put them second to us and I want to thank you for reminding me that they need to be put on the same level as us. Keep going I’m all ears.
I am very impressed with the kindness in your heart towards people who do not treat their dogs properly. I do not believe you have ever said a harsh word, just words of understanding and this is how to better your dogs life. Please, people, keep in mind that all of this can apply to cats. I have not had a dog for years because of jobs ( drive truck) and apt living. People treat cats even worse; actually beyond worse. Voice was good, but since this is the internet and there is so much going on I believe that if we get the message that is what counts!! 🙂
Cheryl
I think a lot of which you bring up, can be applied to how CHILDREN are raised! Responsibility, commitment, and most importantly TIME!
I have struggled with many otherwise caring people in trying to communicate the importance of responsible dog ownership, often to no avail. You communicate this so accurately and almost clinically. It may be the perfect approach for those that don’t respond to often over-zealous animal friends, like myself. I am constantly disregarded as being over the top in my care for dogs and other animals and so my attempts fall on deaf ears. These videos are a great tool for helping me to educate others. Thank you
Loving our animals, that what is important. Your video was well done with a meaning for all dog owners. Keep up the great job, Andrew.
Andrew, My husband and I are probably one of the few above average dog owners you will find…we have a beautiful Golden Ret. (Bailey Irish Cream), 6 years old now…she sleeps with us, goes everywhere with us including work…I was so angry with the pet food findings that I did some research and now feed her a dogfood that seems to be great for her called All Natural – Flint River Ranch – Lamb Meal, Millet & Rice – oven baked – no artifical anything or by products their number is 800 FLINT58, they send it to us postage free.
Have you heard anything about this dog food? She likes a little something added to the dry dog food though so every couple of weeks I slow cook a pot roast, chicken or turkey, add vegies…have one meal for ourselves and then package and freeze the rest (a couple tablespoons in each freezer bag) to add to her dry dog food. Would you call that above average? Anyway, we own a television production company and produce television programming…we have several broadcast cameras, 8 digital edit bays, a digital recording studio and a sound stage…if you want to reach millions more people…which I feel you need to…we need to get you on real TV. Possibly on Animal Planet (Bailey’s favorite station)…Where are you located? We are in Orange County California…do you ever travel anywhere near us? WE LOVE ANIMALS AS WELL!!! What do you think???
The more information on responsible dog (pet) ownership the better. I teach people to teach their dogs in a small town in a western state. I also work to keep up on the latest research on food, health, training and animal intelligence so I can both apply these to my own dogs and passes them on to my students. It is very hard to get the average person to take the time to do what needs to be done, even if it is really easy and satisfying in the long run. At least I can say that most of my students are doing a good job. It may be like small drops of water in a large bucket but little by little we will prevail.
Keep up the good work!
I look forward to the next video. This one brought tears to my eyes. Thank you very much:)
Thank you for the opportunity to becme more than a dog owner. A partner to my dog. Jim
Andrew, This was great!! I am having trouble downloading 2. I don’t know if you can help me with this. I am feeding my dogs only the food you gave us in the book. I hope this stops the cancer two of my other Goldens had…Thanks again…..Keep it coming
This is an excellent video. I just can’t wait to hear what people need to be doing to help pets. We truly believe the dog food was great for our babies and they certainly love it.
Hi Again Andrew, Having just picked up another Newf rescue…………I totally agree with all that you state in your videos. This lovely dog was totally wild when we brought her first into our house a week ago, but now a week later she has learned that furniture is off limits, jumping on people is not allowed and the other dogs food is not hers. We have been firm and loving with her and she now sits next to us and cuddles into us to be petted and loved. She knows she has her own bed and only put her head on ours. And she now waits for her home cooked meal. She is gorgeous, a little scared of strange men, but once she has met anyone who gives her a moment of their time she loves them. Why do some people take on dogs and almost destroy these faithful creatures. Keep up the good work
Andrew, I have implemented your ideas along with my own, as I have been a “home cooked” dog food “mom” for the past few years now. I have five dogs now, a result of losing one of mine and my sisters dogs to lymphosarcoma of the intestines two years ago. I have the sister to my beloved dog still and added four more to my life out of grief and love. I am so happy to have found your information there is great comfort in listening to someone who has knowledge and passion about man and womens best friend. Look forward to your next video. I’ll have to teach Lola, Sasha, Sophie, Mia Saki and Nina to watch along with me!
Andrew love all your videos everything in them makes sense. My fur friend Sara Lee is a min pin. She is so healthy. I fix all her meals with the help sometime from my husband since she was 4 weeks old. Her vet is amazed with her. She is always with one of us. Keep up the great work Sara Lee and myself look forward to watching them.
Thank you for your help to give our dog the best care possible
Also, where do you get Brewer’s Yeast that isn’t in tablet form? I am getting sort of anxious about trying out some of these recipies.
Although I had a bit of difficulty paying attention to Andrew’s words (I kept getting lost in the precious poochie faces), I do commend him for putting forth the effort to improve dog owner quality on a communal level. If we as communities are better caretaker’s for our dogs, it will shine through in other aspects of our lives as well. We all must be committed to this and willing to take some criticism as well as dish some out. Dogs didn’t ask to be domesticated, it was something that our forefathers were interested in doing, now we have the torch! It’s our turn to improve our quality of life and a great start lies in our calling to be there for these loving creatures as they have been there for us. When we’re unhappy, when we’re lonely, when we need to be protected they are there for us and the least we can do is implement planning and carry it out to return the favors! Andrew is not just giving us tips on how to improve a small aspect of our lives, he is petitioning us to save lives and we better hop to it!
Just finished watching the video. Improved over the original version. Please improve this video further by expanding on your model for qualified dog owners. It think your philosophy and model should be greatly linked.
Great stuff Andrew, I can’t wait for video 4. honey is doing great. I haven’t fed her commercial dog food since I got her, and she looks great! take care, Alex.
Hi Andrew I think this was the best video. I loved the pictures there so cute. I can’t wait to be a better dog owner. I love my dogs so much. Thanks Julanne
This is wonderful news – I want to give my wonderful Shih Tzu Abby a long and happy life with us. Thanks for caring about our canine friends. Look forward to video 4
I know what you mean John, I originally tried making these videos without a script and just talking from the heart but it turned into anecdotal rambling and the video became too long.
After doing several takes of video 1 (I eventually did about 11 versions of video 1) I had to make the decision that the only way I could express my ideas in a condensed way was to write them out first — it is written from the heart so the energy is the same.
When I proposed to my wife, she was not on the verge of checking her email instead of listening to me if I did not express my sentiment within a few coherent minutes.
I do feel myself loosening up with more practice and hope to eventually speak without writing a script first.
Thanks,
Andrew
Background “music” does not enhance the video in my opinion.
I wonder what would happen if you threw away the script … and talked from your heart?
Outlines may work in a college lecture where the goal is to accumulate factual knowledge … then pass a test … but what is THE BEST WAY to motivate people to love one another … and their canine friends?
How did you propose to your wife? With a list of reasons and other intellectual exercises … or with commitments and feelings?
we will need the next video to fully understand this video.will be anxiously awaiting video 4!!!keep em coming.
Andrew, enlightenment and education of CORRECT pet ownership needs to be filtered into our society big time! Your outline was right on the money. Thanks for being so passionate about our best friends.
Romeo, Minnie and Missy have already benefits from your videos. Keep up the good work.
Andrew, I have the latest Flash Player, but cannot see anything but a solid black screen on your site. What am I doing wrong? The only video I’ve been able to see was the first one, and your funny one. Surely would like to see videos 2 and 3. Please advise. Many thanks, Virginia Mayhall
Sorry but somehow the video will not come in.
Andrew you are on track. With everything we need a road map. It’s our paln to make the change. Can’t wait for video four.
Andrew,
Thanks for the super video(s). I finally had to put my 16+year old “Sugar” to sleep.. it was hard.. since I had her since she was 4 months old. (Last May30th, 2008). By April 1st.. I had gained a black lab mix pup.. .appx. 2 months old. (From my local animal shelter!). She’s a smart one… and we get along great! I’m awaiting your next videos.. and also another 16+ years with this little one.
Jo
I am very impressed with your dedication to dogs. Excellent!
I have watched Videos 1 &2, but can’t seem to get #3 to download. The bar at the bottom of the page goes 100%, but nothing happens.
Thanks,
Carroll
Informative!!!!!!!!!
Saw video 1 and 2. Cannot seem to get video 3.

Thank you soooooo very much! I know you have worked hard on these videos and I want you to know I appreciate all you have done. Thank you again for your concern, love and heart for our pets/family members.
Sandy
This is good info I wanted to know Good job more please
Was not able to see the video, as it said it was not available. Sorry
Oops! That was video3. Is it video 4 that will offer your solutions to overcoming our good dog care problems?
Thanks for the info and I think most of us who subscribe with you already know about them. How/when do we get access to video 3 which you promise has solutions for us? When do we get to the “meat”?
I got a moment to get to the video. That for the information. Keep it coming. Thanks again.
GREAT JOB. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK…
Andrew,GREAT job!THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO OUR BEST FRIENDS!!Keep up the excellent work me and my baby Stuart thank you
I can’t wait for the next video. Thanks Andrew 🙂
Keep up the good work, thankyou for trying to educate pet owners. thank you, Misty
Nice job, Andrew!!! Keep up the good work!! You are to be commended for all the time and effort that you put into trying to make life better for all dogs. They are so precious!! We had to have our collie-shepherd mix put to sleep in 1991 because he was so crippled up from arthritis that he could no longer get up on his feet to go out in the yard and relieve himself. We had him for 13 great years and after all this time, we still miss him. The little dog we have now is 5 years old and has kidney problems that she has to take medication for every day. I can’t even imagine not having her around. She has the sweetest personality. So, Thanks again for all your hard work. I am looking forward to video #4!!!
Hi Andrew,
I have taken the time to read some of the comments and am surprised at the negative ones, horse (dog) to water springs to mind. My impression of your presentations is that they are designed to make us, as dog owners, think and concider our actions and care for our charges (dogs). I do think that you are doing a fine job in making us ask questions of ourselves in the welfare of our canine family members. I look forward to the culmination of your series with great anticipation, what, why and when roadmap? Well done and thanks Andrew.
Andrew, your statement that we are mostly over commited is all too true and I am really looking to the next video.
Keep up the good work!
Diana and German Shepherd Lottie, in Adelaide, South Australia.
Hey Andrew,
why don’t you invent a dog food that has all the good stuff in it?
I use your recipes, and my dogs have so much more energy
and are much happier. I would definatly buy a dog food that you
come up with.Thank you for opening my eyes to what I used to
feed my dog. My dogs say “hi” and “thanks”
Renee
I feel that some people are to hard on you and I feel that you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to be a better dog owner!
Thanks, Andrew,
Mitsy and I have learned a lot, and are telling others to check out the website. Mitsy is a happy Yorkshire terrier and is at my side as much as possible. we are looking forward to seeing video 4. They have come through OK on my little Eee PC running Linux. Take care.
Andrew
I found you and your website roughly two months ago. I have implemented what you say and your recipes and I honestly feel that Tippy is a much happier and contented dog since then. I greatly appreciate everything and look forward to seeing the next videos.
Andrew, you are obviously a very caring person, as any dog owner should be. Thank you for the help and guidance you are providing for us. Your goal is a wonderful one, and I thank you again.
Eugene has a good point and that is where I am at right now. I want to try your recipes but I am worried about some of the ingredients.
Thank you for such informative videos, they do make you think. I am looking forward to getting started on becoming an excellent dog parent.
Hi again I wrote a bit about my little 8yd old having a heart condition, i’m suppose to go back to the Vet today to pick up an HD science diet formula dog food. I’m still concerned about the things that are in it. any suggestions of where to find out what to or what not to feed her. And do you know anything about this dog food. The vet says its made by Hills. But I know most Vets promote some type of dog food and say its good. Still very unsure about it
Thank you so much for all these videos. They are great!!!!!!!!!
Hi Andrew, Good on you. What a nicer world this would be for both animals and people if there were more caring humans like you. I tend to agree with every word of the ‘Lester and Buddy’ blog. Also, I would like to thank Larry for his beautiful addition of “A Dog’s Prayer”. How uplifting to know these people just a little through your blogs Andrew. Your videos are doing more than you realise. I am a trained Vet Nurse and Professional Pet Groomer on the brink of retiring. I hope I have helped lots of animals enjoy better care from their owners. I often feel frustration and sadness at the widespread ignorance that I so often encounter. At least you will make a difference. Most Aussies love their animals, but not all are excellent animal owners unfortunately. We can all use more knowledge. Keep it coming Andrew! Adele from Oz.
Once again Andrew good job ! I want to thank you soo much for the BONUS videos! They are wonderful !
Andrew. I truly appreciate the work you are doing on behalf of dogs everywhere. There is a problem though in some of the dog food recipes. Several ingredients are sometimes recomended that are actually quite toxic to dogs.
No onions ever.- affects the blood profile substantially
No raisins ever.- can kill dogs (specific reason not yet found)
No mushrooms ever.- will weaken the natural aversion dogs have to mushrooms thereby making it much more likely they will ingest a poisonous wild mushroom.
No margarine ever .- not a real food at all.
A less informed dog owner might use these ingredients and do great damage to their companion. These recipes should be edited.
I was wondering if you have an opinion on the raw (BARF) diet for dogs. I’m looking forward to your next video. You’re certainly building the anticipation!
I am eagerly awaiting video 4
Keep doing what you’re doing – I know of so many people who should never have a dog, but if they were educated in the first place, may possibly make good owners. I have to say that the only thing that will stop that, are those folk that think they ‘have rights’ and will simply bypass the information bit in their pursuit to ‘have what I want’.
On another ‘education front’ take here in the UK, where we have The Kennel Club, who say that they champion dogs and are there to educate people thinking of owning a dog – the fact is, they go along with all the major food companies, Veterinary Colleges and scientific beliefs and treatments, believing that such people must be OK because they are 1) Big 2) Wealthy 3) Powerful (they often have the law to back them – but so does Robert Mugabe) 4) Donate money to the KC 5) Treat people as though they do not know any better than them because they are THE Authority, which of course, they aren’t, truly. It is also a case of who scratches whose back! One often has to ‘be in with them’ before one can get anywhere.

Andrew, Jve only had time to watch #3 but will get to the others soon. This one had great information for us who have a brain and common sense. I am an apartment complex manager and i have a girl who should have been made to get a license to have a baby and she now has a dog, a big pit bull very nice but i hate to say as dumb as she is. She dropped a 27″ TV on him last month then fed him took him for a long walk and wondered why he threw up afterwards, 3 hrs later came to ask me if the dog was Ok. He was ok but for people with this type of
mentality they wouldn’t understand the video at all. I think you should break it down. Saying the exact specific things you are talking about. Like make a schedule so you have a special time out for you and your dog, Pay attention to his habits, take notes if things change in his habits and health,( sleeping more, eating less, losing or gaining weight} These are not signs that your dog is just conforming to the lack of time or play time you give them. See a Vet on a regular basis, There could be something wrong you don’t know about. Just because there good dogs doesant mean their healthy. Some people do think that way.
I made a very terrible mistake this past christmas, and lost the LOVE OF MY LIFE. She was never sick her and I were so close. She new what i thought and felt and I did her too. Only if I was sad she was, If i was happy she was. She stayed by my side at all times. She even learned to talk. Small stuff like{ I LOVE YOU MOM. YES I DO. Her favorite was OREO. } I did everything for her to make her happy and healthy even getting your food books, but it did come to late, She was only sick 2 days she was 7 yrs old. I had to put her to sleep just before she went into a coma or had seizures, Her sugar level was above 900 way off the chart. No she didnt eat alot of oreo’s or things like that she did hae things she shouldnt of had table food things and also things i didnt know about too. All my tenants loved her and she would visit them daily, She would watch their children for them. Moral of this is if you are luckey enough to have a dog that Loves you even just a small percent of the amount she did me. PLEASE take them for regular checkups even if they dont seem sick. and if you know you wont be able to afford to do so then PLEASE give them to someone who can or dont get a dog until you are able to be a responsible owner and best friend.
At the cost of losing her my other little one is 8yrs old an I didnt want to listen to one vet to say she had allergies thank god i didnt, she has a heart condition, which is now being safely treated and with the help of your books can eat well.
Thank you but please make it little more simple for the ones who think they know it all….
In LOVING MEMORY OF MY BEST GIRL…….{ PITA }
Dear Andrew, See all this mention of Videos #1,2,3-yet have none. WHY- Please direct me to the appropriate site. Bought Gold Package. Buying all products this weekend to start home food productiion for my 6 Shih-Tzus. Mookie, Misha Leigh, Codie, Carley & my newer additions who have now reached the age of 6 months, Mistique & Cha-Chi. All responses that I have read on the Web seem to be positive. There is, however no talk about helping a sick dog, sufffering from Cushings Disease. Do you have any suggestiions, re: anything to keep my beloved 13 1/2 year Mookie to stay with us just a little longer? Love, Barbara
Andrew – how do I order your safe recipes for my dogs. They are finiky eaters – do you think they will eat it? That’s my problem I go to all the trouble of fixing food for them and they will not eat it – I refuse to feed them this rotten food on the market. Help, Andrew, my dogs are hungry – I boiled chicken for them tonight, stew meat last night – they ate it fairly well, liked the chicken better, but I have been told people food is not good for them. Of course dogs eat meat but alternating these two foods – is it ok to do this. HELP!
Lester & Buddy Thanks for writing what I wanted to say, as well. I couldnt believe the whining. This man has researched and spent countless hours puting togeather books (WHICH ARE DOWNLOADED TO YOUR COMPUTER) and so much more information which is FOREE ( I like that one Lester& Buddy) and you people still arent happy. As for the refunds: sounds like you want something for nothing. hmmmmm………..Andrew dont let the whiners get you down, there are alot of us who appreciate all that you have done and continue to do, My ole man Co-Co wouldnt be here today if it werent for your information……THANK YOU ANDREW
God Bless You
Deb. Cruz
