Did you know dog food companies can very legally sell you dog food that is not good enough for your dog?
I know most of it is not good enough but even when they admit its not adequate nutrition for your dog, they can still sell it to you!

Hi Andy-
I think you are helping a lot of animals out there…and I support your work. I have 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks and after one of them contracted a Mass Cell Stem cancer (level 2) I changed their diets quite radically. From tinned and processed biscuits to organic and raw food. I did this after a lot of research on the internet and have discovered that it is the raw meat that is valuable to dogs because of the enzymes. I feed my dogs free range kangaroo meat with organic oats, vegetables and organic barley powder, liquid minterals, raw eggs, organic garlic and astaxanthin (potent algae-cancer killer)..along with salad (organic lettuce & home grown mung bean sprouts) a raw chicken wing (every few days alternate with lean kangaroo steak) and all this is drizzled with organic coconut oil. I purify their drinking water and ensure they are shampood in non toxic shampoo (as the skin can absorb chemicals). Since I have changed their diets and reduced their toxic overload their health has improved and they lost nearly 7 kg each without having to increase exercise….and there has been no cancer re-occurrence. Hope this is of value.
Kind regards
Karen
Wonderful Karen, thank you! We also have a comprehensive product about Canine Cancer, just click the blue square button you see on the right of this page
I don’t see anything about the cost of the book or where you can get it. Can you help?
Thanks
Pat
Have a look here Pat
Hi Andrew
Very interested regarding not feeding my dog commercial food. But I thought you should know on this very page google adds are advertising Bakers complete dog food which is the very type of dog food you are against I find this very strange you would allow this!!.
Hi Stephen, I see the conflict, believe me. I was explaining to someone else earlier that I avoided adding advertising to this site for over 4 years but when the recession hit I was on the brink of shutting down because I carried this business on my savings for 18months. I dont control the ads, Google decides which ads to display.
HI ANDY I have just lost a 7year old toy poodle due to kidney failure i now know why. I have 3 others and have now started cooking their food from scratch meat fish chicken what veg would you advise me to add. Thanks for letting me know what the dog food i was giving them was harming them my ways of doing things have changed. ruby
Hi Ruby, sorry for your loss and that you had to find out the same way I did. My dog Noble also died from kidney disease before I discovered this stuff. Your dogs have a much brighter future now you’ve made the change, thanks for making the effort.
Dear Andrew:
Thanks for all your insightful information. It has really opened my eyes. What do you think about biljack dog food (frozen) also is dry food as bad as the \"wet\" food.
thanks so much,
kindest regards,
patti
not one I recommend.. and thanks!
Patti
I thought you should know that for many years I had to take a trip out of town to purchase a bag of Dry Biljack Dog Food. About 15 years ago, I bought and opened my LAST bag of Biljack. Right on top of the food was a severed CHICKEN FOOT ! I’ll never use that food again.
Sallye
Nasty.. I’m glad it wasn’t a cancerous growth or a liver infested with worms or the remains of an animal that died from a disease because all of those are classed as acceptable to be processed into dog food. There is a classification system called 4-D (4Ds) which includes animals which are Dead, Dying, Diseased or Disabled. These animals are not fit for human consumption but the law permits there use in pet food.
i give my dog rice and vech is it good to do this
michael, by themselves rice and veggies is not enough, you’ll need to also add a good protein source. Go here and scroll down the page until you see the dog food recipe, try that one on your dog or use it as a template (it includes calorie breakdown and feeding advice for every dog size just like all the Dog Food SECRETS recipes).
