my dog has several tumors after feeding him K-mart brand senior dog food (Champion). I found that it was taken off the shelves. since then, i\’ve been aternating feeding him Organix, Newman\’s, wellness (salmon), Diamond\’ & V-Dog. i\’ve been giving him supplements of Irish moss, powdered parsley, kelp, nutritional yeast, garlic granules, turmeric, bromelaine, glucosamine, chomdroitin, MSM, calcium citrate, olivr oil, & cayenne pepper on his food with water. He likes it and is satisfied after eating (he is a large, 10-yr-old lab/ Rhodesian ridgeback mix with slipped disk & a big appetite, & tends to gain weight easily). I also give him a cod-liver-oil cap each day. Hopopefully he won\’t develop cancer. (My daughter just lost her 2nd Rottie to cancer feeding them Costco kibble.) I\’m going to put him on a vegetarian food but not sure which brand is best. He\’s currently on the Wellness salmon kibble. I once had a puppy I raisd as a vegetarian. He was very healthy. but he didn\’t grow as big as his siblings. and had a rougher, darker coat but I atributed it to his being a mutt with maybe GHD genes. Also had a large Weimeraner that was fed a raw egg every day by my mom who thought it was good for her coat, but she developed a biotin deficiency (leg tremor), so I do not recommend raw egg white.
Super cheap dog foods must be avoided at all costs because they are very poor nutritionally and contain dangerous additives. The foods you have chosen seem quite well balanced. I’d be very carefully when using vegetarian diet because dogs will have adrenal problems if they eat a consistently low-protein diet. My recommendation would be vegetable, rice-oats and 40% protein diet. Raw eggs contain pectin which inhibits the biotin. Boiling an egg for 30-secs to 1-minute is enough to break down the pectin.
Thank uVeryMUCH 4 what u r doing!!!
I knew they were poisoning OUR food but until I ran across your ebook last year it hadn\’t occurred to me the same thing was happening w/dog food. I\’m telling people all the time now.
I\’m also working w/ natural therapies for issues our pets have.
A guy in U.K. has been doing same thing & Im sharing w/ him my own personal investigations/results from my research.
Would like to know more of this type of thing if u know as well.
Thank you again.
